Has Anyone got the french update they can upload cos orange

HI

has anybody got a copy of the french update that they can upload becuase the orange download site seems to be down. I really need the update to work around the windows 98 problem with the uk update. Can anyone post a link to a site that has the french update.

Hi Daisy!

Please let us know how you get on with Sim Unlocking and De-Certing.

I've updated on my Win ME system using the French work-around, but can't get Sim Unlock to work and frankly dare not try De-Certing.

I've successfully decerted my phone again after running the FR/UK update.

It took a few more times than it did before (and 80% more swearing), although there is only the one file that needs changing now.

After the hard reset, the phone either takes longer to be recognised in the cradle and is getting to the home screen a lot faster. This seems to be making the decert process a little more hit and miss.

But, before the update, having the simlock on - requiring the code to be input before the phone gets to the home screen - seemed to help.
