Guest kingdom master Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Last month, Hewlett Packard released a ROM update for the h3950 and h3955. This included a variety of bug fixes and small enhancements. However, readers in the Brighthand Forums reported that this update reduced the speed of their handhelds from 400 MHz to 300 MHz. HP has now released a new version of this update that doesn't have this problem. Sony now lists the T665C as "Sold Out" on its SonyStyle webstore. This model has been replaced with the new SJ33. Recently, Motorola announced that Linux would be its preferred operating system for smartphones. However, at the 3GSM World Congress last week, a company spokesperson told Reuters that it would also release devices running Microsoft's Smartphone 2002 operating system. Motorola is also an investor in Symbian. Conduits Technologies has released Pocket Slides 1.7 for the Pocket PC, the latest version of its app for making presentations directly from the handheld. The new version offers support for more video-out peripherals and much more. It costs $40.
