Hmm. I've previously managed to de-cert my SPV on two occasions with few (or no) problems at all (once post-update, once after a phone self-reset) but now I simply can't get the damn thing to de-cert again (DK update here) - the files *will not* copy over in time no matter how often I try. Arrgh. What the hell is up with it now?

My latent hatred for this phone (and my somewhat less-latent hatred for Orange) grows stronger by the day. Any advice gratefully received.

Try, try and try again ;) I have the DK update as well

but seriously I found that the phone seemed to finish booting and it was

too late but the process still worked.

Just my experience :)

Also one thing I did was instead of having the windows file open I

had it closed ie the main window showing IPSM storage card etc

then when the process was taking place it saved time by not loading all the contents of the window folder.

This part is wrong "Please remember to backup your data, that you by now gathered in your phone! The operation of unlocking includes hard reset, that will clear your SPV phone. You can make Orange Backup and you can use ActiveSync backup."

You cannot use Activsync to do a backup that option is not available to the SPV

Excellent a reall dummies & prats guide just what I need, think I might actually do the dirty deed.

Good quality pictures too just what I like to see!, I wonder if they were taken with another SPV¿ :roll:
