Cracks Appeared

Has anyone had cracks appear on their SPV keypad. I have one going between the * and the 0 key and up to the 8 (see picture).

Is this covered by the phones warranty or Orange care. Any feedback appreciated.

:) looks like could be caused by a moulding fault (weak point), aint had/seen it myself.

Really don't know about Warrenty, one of them "grey" areas (eg "it's a fault" "it's deliberate damage")

orange care cover acidental damage anyway i think, so i would send it back if you have that.

if not get it and if the problem gets any worse send it back. :)

I do have orange care. Fortunately I am on Talk 60 which includes orange care at no extra cost.

If it is a moulding fault, then it definitely should be covered by the warranty.

so if I believe my phone to be of fauly manufacture, do I go back to an Orange shop, or do I call Orange? I don't want to claim on my Orange care if I don't have to.

what i would do is take it bk to the orange shop where you got it from and see what they say.

they should be able to advise you whether or not it is under warranty or whether you can claim on ur insurance.

either way i would have thought a replacement should be comming your way mate!

i havent noticed any cracks on my keypad, rather the paint on the keys is starting to come off! ive only had the fone since december!

must be all those msn chats!

Can I take it back to any Orange shop, or does it have to be the one I bought it from?
