I have done a search and there seem to be no threads about how the connector is congigured (pin out)

can anyone pleas enlighten me on that

If this is corect :) i should be able to make a converter so that i can use the spv on my original nokia car kit

as far as i can see on that scematics

(i'm educatet as an electronic technitian)

everything you need should be there.

My only problem is getting the female 2.5 mm jack plug with 4 connections on it.

I can't seem to get it from anyone here in DK

He posted that he was trying and that he had problems but he never posted that he had completed it. So I presume he did not have any luck.

just reading http://xda-developers.com/connectors/, which says that the connector is physically same as ipaq > 3800

"Keep in mind that on some accessories, such as the [ipaq] keyboard below, you need to make the connector face the other way, as well as make the necessary electrical changes"

Doesn't this mean that we should be able to plug spv into a normal IPAQ keyboard, just making the (minor) modifications to make it pin compatible. Physically the port orientation on IPAQ and SPV should match.

Unfortunately I did get some stuff worknig, then got rid of car! - New one coming friday:)
