Guest 15 yr old Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 will there be an update to improve camera refreash rate?????
Guest tomdbomb61 Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 who knows they should have included one this time me feels, as the refresh rate is shhhhhhhhhite! try and take a pic of sum1 and they think ur really srange asking them to stand there 5 mins after the clicker sound goes off! tj
Guest SirGaz Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Trouble is that the refresh rate is mainly goverened by the fact that the port os sssssslllloooowwwww. I suspect they may be able to speed it up a bit, but not enough to stop people complaining about it.
Guest Thurstan Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 He he - chuckling at tomdbomb's post: imagining him under the cloak of one of those old concertina-type cameras telling people with fixed grins to stand still! :)
Guest spacemonkey Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 My experience suggests that post update the camera is taking the photo basically straight after the shutter noise. It however takes 5 secs or so for the image to be transfered to teh phone. The preview image is still rubbish tho. The IA Album people commented on this when they first released their software, and basically said the problem was down to poor hardware and there wasn't much to be done about it.
Guest mashkhan Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Couldn't we just have a poor quality preview image i.e black and white. A bit like those Casio watch phones which preview in B&W and take the photos in colour. At the moment when taken pictures I end up with are a blur, although that could be down to the fact I have problems keeping my hand steady!
Guest spacemonkey Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Damn, your hand must be really shaky... maybe blurring is worse in low light? I used my phone all around Egypt (using IA Album admittedly) and I was very pleased with the results.
Guest fraser Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Blurring is worse in low light. To get a good picture, you'll need to get a tripod for the SPV!!
Guest mashkhan Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 I forgot to mention I live in a dungeon!
Guest 15 yr old Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 By the the time i press the caputure button, the moving motor cycle i try to take a picture of is off in the distance!!!!!
