Guest phoenix Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 I have noticed a dramatic improvement in the battery life of the SPV I have been running mine 9 til 11 for four days and im still at 15% seems to have improved.....?
Guest casper508 Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Battery life was 95% this morning. Made a few calls(30mins), watched some videos (1hr), listened to some mp3s (1hr), surfed the net(1hr) and played various games (2hrs). Now at 10pm its sitting on one bar. I don't think it has made any drastic improvements. What do u guys think? Cas
Guest Myke Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 before i can to sparingly use mine, now i can use it all i want through the day and the battery doesnt run out before its nightly charge
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted March 4, 2003 Report Posted March 4, 2003 We have covered this before... In general the idle standby time has been improved (in my case at least) by about 2-fold. It's still pitiful if you use it for more than an hour or two during the day though....
Guest MISMan Posted March 4, 2003 Report Posted March 4, 2003 I find in standby / moderate usage I can get 2-3 days, but of course the radio does not use much power. Man, you are getting great battery life out of ANY phone if you can play and do the level of things you are doing (MP3's, movies on a color LCD) and get 4-5 hours in a day..... I would not complain...
Guest uczmeg Posted March 4, 2003 Report Posted March 4, 2003 Sadly my phone is no better. With a couple of short calls I'm still pushing it to get 24 hours out of my phone. Which frankly is no good at all! I can understand if I was using it for games or MP3s, but I can't and get the phone all day as that is more important. Right now all the cool features are a novelty I can play with at my desk when I'm near my charger. So is this grounds to get it changed and which Orange number do I use to complain? Cheers Marc
