Windows Media Player not reading MMC Card Sizes

OK, I've connected to the SPV, and then fired up Windows Media Playeer 9 in WinXP, in the hope of copying files accross using the option to 'Copy to Device' in WMP. However, when I select the Smartphone itself or the card in the phone, it always says that there are 0 bytes available and won't transfer the files!!! And this was with a brand new 64MB card!!! Is there a way to fix this, or doI just have to put up with the problem and resort to transfering the files using cut and paste in explorer?

Thanks,

Dave

I have teh same prob it won't give the card space available, I can still transfer the files okay, just won't give me the space taken an all that.

I usually resort to dragging and dropping in win explorer. Stick it in the bug section, it's probably an issue for the SPV and for microsoft themselves as WMP9 is basically still beta.

i tried this with a sandisk mmc (64MB) card and the spv would not even show a storage card folder. I even formated it with my MMC card reader within winxp but still no joy - even though it worked perfectly fine with my 9210e.

So i took it back for a refund and got a kodak 128 MB memory card which works a treat
