I would assuming its done as professionally as you suggest :)

An excuse for free food and drink at the very least.

Paul,

I'd be interested if you could secure a good rate on a hotel room that night. I'm based in the City of Lights, woe is me.

Yep, it would be done very professionally indeed - I have a few people on board helping me out on this one...

Sounds good then, any kind of eta yet?

Maybe. Depends if that weekend I'm being ignored by a girl I think I'm seeing but am no longer sure, bah.

I voted no cuz... well... I'm from Denmark and don't really have any money...

I live in London so this is a very good plan... I voted yes but of course this will depend on exact dates/pricing, but in general I am very keen.

So who are you planning to have as a guest speaker ???

:)

Guest Paul [MVP]

I am not allowed to reveal guest speakers at this stage...

Price is of course FREEEEEEEEEEEE!

:)

Now that is a good price... it will of course destroy my mental picture of all you guys. I might find out that monolithix isn't a wrinkly old scientist and Paul isn't a young boy with a penchant for mischief.

As young as you are spacemonkey (26!)

:)

Will has met me now, so he can fill you in ;)

I'm actually Swedish and have an obsession with chasing chicky's....

Guest wirefree90

So you can't reveal who your guest speakers are ??

Sounds dodgy to me.

I'll be there for sure!! Just make sure we get at least 2 weeks notice so I can book the time off work

Guest Paul [MVP]

In what way dodgy wirefree90? I have been asked not to reveal details at this stage.

Wirefree90 may be right, we'll all be lured, under the pretense of interesting free speakers, to some location in london where we may have to drink beer and "socialise" while infact hearing no "interesting free speakers"...

It's a plot that's just toooo insanely clever...

If lots of people on this forum are in one room together then we can't all be posting messages, so there should be fewer red folders when we next visit the site (possibly). At the end of the night we can dim the lights and play some appropriate music, start Paul's torch app and all slowly wave our SPVs above our heads... Just ban computers from the event

What song?

'I love to hate you! (SPV)' ?

'Buggin Around' ?

Heh...

I'll go if Bill Gates is a speaker, seeing as you're one of his new found friends Paul :) and if you could get someone from Orange to hand out free SPVx upgrades at the end of the night.................

I should be able to go but prepare yourselves as i am not really a plastic penguin which used to contain ice cream
