No signal in my Flat!!!!

Hi all,

First post here,I've Just moved into a new basment flat and i cannot get a signal on my spv,i will sometimes get a text come thru but thats it ,if i stand outside i get a signal so i know its not an issue with the phone ,so i was wondering if anyone knows of any kind of aerial extension for a mobile? I've had a good look around and i cant find anything.

Be wary of the mobile phone signal boosters out there. Most folk say they are a scam and see no improvement.

However, the SPV does have a socket for connecting an external aerial, it's located underneath the rubber lug on the back of the phone. I'd suggest asking Orange what they'd recommend and then looking for something similar elsewhere. Alternatively, you could try the likes of Carphonewarehouse as if you don't get any benefit, you could always just take it back claiming it wasn't fit for purpose.
