SD Card probs

My SPV started to not recognise my SD card intermittently :cry:

IA Album, WMP and even the program menu fails to read files. Taking it out and reinserting it usually solves the problem, so I can normally deal with this but...

...when listening to MP3s WMP sometimes just stops playing them. It says it's still playing them, but the time ain't going up and I can't change track. Most of the other menu options work, but trying to select a new track fails. Even removing the card and retying don't work. The Task Manager (I'm app-unlocked) won't quit WMP and all I can do is restart my phone. It doesn't seem to happen if I leave WMP open in front (e.g. not in the background). I'm guessing this is all related to the SD card.

Any ideas? Don't really wanna have to go through the hassle of sending it back to Orange (I have Orange Care), but if I have to...

Oh, just thought it might be the card. Will try the included 8Mb one tonight to see if that's got the same probs. However I have seen others have probs reading SD cards, so have assumed it's the SPV.

I've had that a few times when I try to run an app.

All I do is remove the card and reinsert it, works every time.

I presume that it's down to contacts getting dirty
