Guest ajb3000 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 It seems DK users are getting 100DKK and 2 free games for "inconveniance", so will the same upply to us UK users??
Guest Chris b.a.r.f. Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 I doubt it, because you've always had English language/T9 avaliable. The "Free" games/bill-rebate are a sweetener from Orange DK because the Danes have had to wait so long for a working Danish language/T9 setup.
Guest vampyre69 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 UK+SPV+OWNER+ORANGE+ANY_FORM_OF_REBATE Do not fit into any possible sentance except... We are sorry but Orange PCS have no plans to offer UK SPV owners any form of rebate as we strive to ensure all services/updates etc are at their best before we decide to release them for public use, we would like to remind you that we only put our name on mobile phones that we have tested and meet our exceed our own premium qaulity standard.... Hmm erm well what can you say except ohh b*gger me thats a suprise.
Guest yatpeak Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Also, I think they the fact that they have to download the games through GPRS would probably just about cancel out the money off. Wyatt
Guest vampyre69 Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 "]Hehehe, cool avatar Vampyre! :) P Thanks
Guest mantrac Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 We are sorry but Orange PCS have no plans to offer UK SPV owners any form of rebate as we strive to ensure all services/updates etc are at their best before we decide to release them for public use, we would like to remind you that we only put our name on mobile phones that we have tested and meet or exceed our own premium quality standard.... Are they serious?? Of all the excuses, is this the best one they could come up with? Meet or exceeed the standard??? Since when are SMS editors without character counters the new QUALITY STANDARD?? I have no idea how many SMS messages I end up sending out and this is happening because their SMS editor is PANTS! As a result of that, I end up paying more for my messages cause I send out more than is necessary... In addition to that, there is NO built-in GPRS counter, something that from May 1st we'll all have to buy or suffer the consequences... Who pays for that??? Let me guess.... So why are Orange so TYPICALLY BRITISH and show a COMPLETE LACK OF RESPECT towards the customer???? Not only are they screwing us over with this silver brick of errors but they also act as if we're being unreasonable... I encourage everyone to call Orange and ask to have any extra SMS messages that were sent as a result of exceeding the number of characters per message, refunded. They have NO WAY of defending themselves on this one....
Guest Richie M Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Calm down Mantrac, i think you'll find Vampyre was takin the P
Guest TooMuch2AM Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 But Mantac has a good point. Not only do we end up sending up to twice as many SMS's as we should do, when I send a long message to my gf (on t-mobile) it can take 10 minutes for the second half of the message to arrive! So I'd rather be sending 1 message so I can communicate properly! M
