Yes you can, why would you want to tho?

The UK & DK ROM's are more up-to-date, as far as i know.

Try doing a search for "Swiss Update" or just look at the numerous post concerning the UK & DK Updates.

According to the version number the swiss update is newer than the others (except the french).

But i can say that some of the features in the dk-update are not included in the swiss update (eg the sms-counter), so this could mean, that rom-version doesn't say anything about progress.

The version numbers aren't necessarily in order. The UK one's really low and, as far as I know, it's the same as the rest that came out at that time. Also I wasn't aware that any of them had an SMS counter?

Well Bazz, if you'd been reading recent topics you'd know that a new DK update has come out in the last few days. Major changes are:

1- It now supports Danish and accented characters in T9 mode

2- A Counter in SMS, this counter however only displays sometimes, apparently depending on how you've addressed the message.

3- De-certification no longer works. A backup of IPSM de-certed prior to upgrade is reported to avoid this problem (ie restore the de-certed backup after updating).

This DK update includes actual modifications by microsoft to the operating system compared with all other previous updates which have only included updates by Orange and HTC

Yeah knew about that one, which is why I said "the same as the rest that came out at that time". Was going to mention the new DK update, but see that there are still issues (decert and stuff) and as he asked about the Swiss one I figured I couldn't be bothered mentioning it.

Didn't see that it had an SMS counter though (only really skimmed the posts really quickely).
