Guest Ethanol Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Does anybody know if the spv supports the bluetooth sdcard. My docking station could be potentially redundant if so :?:
Guest Will Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 I have tried both the sd cards available, neither do anything, we need bluetooth drivers/software. Will
Guest Ethanol Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 But I am sure it supports the bluetooth headset. Does the spv only support wireless voice data?? Do you know if microsoft plan to release support bluetooth sd cards in the future. Quite a lot of nokias have it built in which is a little annoying.
Guest Will Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 You can 'apparently' use the non=bluetooth jabra headset. (not seen or tested). VoIP if thats what you mean? : someone could write an app, but this may be in the privelidged area of the phone (which we cannot write software for). Some btooth companies are planning (according to this forum and press releases) a bluetooth sdcard and software for the phone. Quite a lot of nokias do have bluetooth, but this is an SPV.. - Sorry could not resist! :) Will
Guest Ethanol Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 I must have read the label wrong. Cheers for that, I suppose I am just going have to use good old fashioned cables for the time being
Guest vadonald Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 You can 'apparently' use the non=bluetooth jabra headset. (not seen or tested). I've seen a thread on here somewhere regarding the Jabra headset (Hardware I think), and went looking on the Jabra website, the Jabra headset IS bluetooth, but if you have a non-bluetooth phone (ie SPV), it has a module which plugs into the headphone socket, this would be okay in the car possibly, but the module is a bit bulky to carry in your pocket with the phone IMHO. An SD card bluetooth - headset link would be much more elegant, again IMHO. Vince :)
Guest tdp Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Wish HTC/Orange would implement bluetooth in the battery. Nokia have done this already for some of their older phones. I think that would be elegant.
