Need unlocking help plz

I'd like to make my Orange SPV simfree because my SPV promotion pack runs out in a months time, and my vodafone sim has 40mb GPRS, also i'd like to be able to run other software on it and/or maybe sell itin the future.

I've heard that quake is being made so that's one i'd like to try, but my SPV won't run it in it's present state i've been told. If there are other unlocking things i should know about it'd be much appreciated if i was told.

Even if someone kindly gives links to tutorials i'd be greatful.

We'll need ot know which updates (if any) you have applied, as the de-cert methods vary slgihtly between the different versions...

Hi,

Firstly, you'll need to perform two different types of unlocks, one for the simfree and the other for the app-decert (You probably already knew this, just clearing it up)

If you want to de-cert your phone for apps, try this link if you have performed the UK update (maybe also the first DK update, not sure) - http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=4657

If you are Danish, and you want to perform the more recent DK Update, I don't believe that you will be able to unlock. Apparently if you back up your decerted ISPM you can decert it, but someone else will have to tell you how to do it as I don't know any more.

:) does this sim unlocking only work for win2000/xp because i,ve tryed it 20 times on my computer running win/me and it does,nt get beyond the retiving sim lock code it stuck on 0% have tried leaving it for long periods but get nought can you help pls and just clear this problem up regarding which Operating System it,s designed to run on
