Help with Contacts issue

When I transferred my contact details from old sim card, all mobile numbers etc were inserted in the field for home numbers.

Is there a quick way of changing the fields or using a method to transfer the numbers at one time to the mobile field. I know it can be done one by one, but this is a long process, where each number has to be inputted in the mobile field and then deleted from the home field.

yes

synch with active sync

export the contacts in outlook and then reimport them

when you reimport them map the field so that the telephone number go to the mobile telephone number or whatever you want it to go

synchronise back with computer overwrite phone
