hey I tried to do the unlocking method on my new DK2 update....but I can't paste the overwritten file to the smartphone/windows folder because active sync don't connect to the phone when i put it in the cradle just before the blue smartphone logo appear (after orange startup logo)

is it normal?

and the phone ONLY connects to active sync if I put it in the cradle when the phone are started up (when the desktop appear)

You are correct, the new DK update stops the de-certification method from working. Please look at other recent threads about the DK update for further information.

The only current method seems to be decertifying before updating, then backing up IPSM, then updating the phone, then restoring IPSM.

This is a pain, but it seems to be a fact of life at the moment.
