Guest mantrac Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 VICO Video Player is another piece of software that will probably never have enough content to justify its existence. Still, it allows video streaming (but so does media player) and video playback via MMS. Does anyone know whether it supports any of the common formats such as MPEG? A certified version is apparently due for release this month.
Guest Richie M Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 What’s more our uniquely flat video profiles make live TV to mobile phones a reality. Looks like a Demo version is available, but i cant connect at the mo (work are doing maintenance so our net connections a pig at the mo). They also say; The Orange SPV uses the Microsoft’s Stinger operating system Does it? Er no, Smartphone 2002 last time i looked. Also uses an ARM9 processor that is powerful enough to support video without the need for any hardware support. VICS' highly optimised video technology makes the of the most of this processing power by enabling more video per KB than any other technology They say exactly the same thing about 7650 & P800 :?
Guest spacemonkey Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Microsoft Stinger Smartphone was the "codename" that microsoft worked under prior to releasing Smartphone 2002.
