Are replacement handsets supplied with update?

I had to replace it and now not sure if people said they should have the update applied. I've done a search but so far couldn't find out.

Also, are there new features with the update? How do I find them as my handset doesn't appear to have anything new!! :)

If you have the update you should have a picture manager and sound manager. And go to Programs, More, Settings, About your Operator ROM version should be 1.3.5.6. If it is not that it means you have to do the update.

Go to Settings -> About...

The Version numbers at the bottom on my SPV are :

Operator : 1.3.5.6

Mfr : 1.3.5.6

M/S : 3.0.12255.0

etc etc..... :roll:

I've gotten one phone back from CS (stuck on headset) and they'd applied a ROM image with the update, but OOTB state. Had to Decert.

Did not think to check to write down IMEI beforehand to see if they switched the phone. I imagine they did.

I run winME as well, which means I've got to apply it myself
