Guest morpheus Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 I managed to decert the phone with no probs and tried a couple of apps from coolsmartphone.com, they worked fine. Since yesterday, I have d/l games and gone thru the installation process and my SPV says 'installing', but thats it, my SPV goes to the main screen and nothing else happens Nothing installed Am I trying to install the wrong games - pocket pc ones I have tried smartphone demo apps, they don't work (Working for 'O', I should know the solution, never come accross this tho) Please help me Morpheus 8) BTW, it's no good calling 'O' about the SPVx :?:

Guest Paul [MVP] Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Use a file explorer to delete the contents of IPSMWindowsApplication DataInstalls (or something like that). There's probably a load of CAB files in there - erasing them will get your installs running again :) P

Guest morpheus Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Xcellent, problem solved, with your help. Using Smartexplorer, I went to the INSTALL folder and all the PocketPC CAB files were there. I just clicked on each one and they downloaded, I have played 4 pocketpc games so far. Many thanks Morpheus :)
