Can anybody help, when i send mms messages or pictures it does not show up on other peoples phones, i have tried sending pics to the nokia 7210 and the sagem mx5 and both have recived a message saying that the picture is available to download from the orange site under a login name and password which only lasts for 30 days. has anybody got any ideas why it does this.

Help me please its making me mad!!!

well if they were gettin the pic msg but it just wouldnt download then thats network or individual phone settings problems........ yours is a number of things, (humour my suggestions as you might already have thought of these but i dont know from your msg :) )

1. either the phones you are sending to are not mms enabled, when you buy a mms phone from orange it is not automatically set up you have to request it like roaming. therefore they would get that text.

2. if they are not on orange or o2 then they wont receive them and have to go to the website as so far only orange and o2 have got cross network mms setup with each other.

3. failing that ..... one other thought would be if the other phones are not being used with their original sims they were bought with. as orange will only provision the sim registered to the phone for mms, so if other sims are being used in the phones then its the sim that is provisioned and not the account so it wont work and you would get that text too

i hope that helps, as long as its sending from yours fine its not an issue at your end (hehe so to speak) i know i had problems with mine for a while but the gprs settings were wrong on my phone and they wouldnt send ....... i understand your great annoyance it took a while to figure it out ...... if you need anymore help pm me and ill try

good luck ;)

There have been issues in the past with sending to 7210's (i keep meaning to test it with my mates but forgetting heh).

Best way to test its working oyur end is to send yourself one, if it works then its an issue on the other phone's part.

I also remember reading either the SPV or the 7210 doesn't use "standard" MMS send/recieve software, i can't remember which way round it is though....
