Guest gideonnorel Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 We all know its possible to design diffferent home screens but is it possible to alter or design different menu systems by that i mean hen you click the programs softkey and then its shows you your list of shortcuts, any possible way of modifying that. hope it makes sense Gideon.
Guest Richie M Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Yes m8, browse via Activ-Synce to IPSMWindowsStart Menu - thats were all those shortcuts are - just delete/rename/create whatever you want :)
Guest midnight Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 the programs menu is really just a directory listing of IPSMWindowsStart Menu (in alphabetical order, shortcuts first, then folders) you can add any shortcuts you like, and folders and such, but thats about all as far as i know (of course, if this is an xml file to display this listing then in theory it should be possible to modify it)
Guest fraser Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 I think he was wondering about skinning it, like can be done with the home screens. Give the whole thing a different look and feel, i.e. not just changing the colours. I'd be surprised if it were possible, but you never know!
Guest Vector Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 It would be sooo cool if we could skin the menus. Especially with the talent of Jay-z2k :)
Guest gideonnorel Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Jay-z2k would diffo be the right guy for the job but yeah thats what i was talking about. might be interesting to look into the xml idea.
