Great to meet you all, only sorry there wasn't time to talk to everybody. If anyone has any questions about the software card from DAT either post here or PM me and I'll try to answer them for you!

that's great mate, you lucky so-and-so... so they gave away more 8mb SDcards did they? And who is they anyway? And do you have any idea if all the software will also be available for download for those of us who were unable to attend yesterday? I can come up with more questions if you like, stuck in a dead call centre at work

Guys. I'd prefer you didn't post that software widely on the internet however I have a limited number of cards left over that I would be willing to mail to Modaco regulars who couldn't make it. PM me if interested.

They were 4mb - "60 4 mb" cards.

DAT are the people who made SMS tools - http://www.datgroup.com.

I don't know where this 'piracy' idea is coming from, when I mentioned downloads I assumed that this software would be available from the official DAT site, I hope that noone from the meet would abuse the trust and goodwill of the companies that participated in the event, otherwise it will make it a lot more difficult to organise a second one.

Firaas, you mentioned installing file manager so you could play doom on it... how is it better than All Explorer or is it a different type of app?

It's the same type of app - it's a lot quicker than All Explorer, but there's something about the usability of SmartExplorer which no other explorer app has been able to beat.

The newest version of AllExplorer also has the ability to beam files to printer and stuff but otherwise FileManager is a cool app.

The DAT file manager is similar to All-explorer....

but better, much better and very fast
