TokiTori - Problems installing

I have just purchased TokiTori from AIM,

I go through the installation and it does the PC side of the install then switched to the activesync Add/Remove screen and give the Check you mobile screen,

On my SPV then the Install screen appeared and 5sec later it dissappeares and the game has not installed.

I rebooted my SPV and tryed the install again, 6.5 mb Phys Mem, Same thing

I killed SmartFace from running, Same thing

I found the CAB file on C:Program FilesAIM ProductionsToki Tori and copyed file to my SPV and used SmartExplorer to retry installing it just from the CAB file, and you guessed it same thing.

My SPV(1.3.5) is decertifided, SmartFace install, X-box skin (Reg mod for Midnights extra screens) 128mb SD card(28mb free)and the game just will not install, I turn to the ppl of MoDaCo for a little help

Ok just incase it's only a failed install go to

IPSMWindowsAppMgrInstall and if the games there just run it :lol:

you could delete it and run the whole thing again but the first options better.

there is no install folder in IPSMWindowsAppMgr

Any other ideas

You have to view it through all-exporer or smart explorer.

I've not had a cab go there for ages though...

you cannot view install folder using activesynch.

you have to use smartexplorer or allexplorer.

Yep it was in there, Deleted the files from the install folder and retyed the install, it quits the install again

Sure you don't have the homescreen timeout set to 5 seconds?

Its set to 10min, I havn't had any other problem installing software cert/decert to my SPV

You're trying to install the the phone?

Bear in mind it needs enough space to copy the cab to the phone first...

Also "Available Storage" in Settings > About will tell you your available memory.

i'd contact hexacto if i was you, could even be a messed up cab (if a reg setting is incorrect then the cab wont install, so maybe could even be that)

Yeah! mine fails too. (in exactly the same way)

I'll wait until handango replace the file and then re-download it.

I heard there was a mixup with Handango because the ppc and smartphone versions of the game were having the same installer file name... If that is the case, it should be fixed pretty fast and easily.

i have sent [email protected] an e-mail regarding this, ill let you know on the responce i get.

But then lookin back at the last post i check the cab file name Toki Tori.ppc30_arm.cab so it could be a f/muck up. :twisted:

I baught the game from AIM not Handango so lets see what they say.

Well, the AIM shop is Handango-powered, so it's actually one and the same...

I downloaded this this morning & it worked fine. I got it direct from Handango & the file was toki_tori_10.exe.

I downloaded it to the PC & then installed it directly to the phone. No probs.

Try it now & you should be fine. If not, you may have to double check you bought the right version of the game?

I got the game from smartphone.net not from Handango.

Could you have a look in C:Program FilesAIM ProductionsToki Tori and see what the name of the cab file is. Just so i can e-mail the support team back and let them know that cab file is totaly different for a working version of the game.
