Adding T9 DLL. Is it possible?

Anyone already tried to import a T9 DLL from another language?

Like importing the italian T9 DLL to a UK or DK SPV.

The question is whether an Italian T9 DLL exists?? If it does you could change the registry by either adding a new T9 language or just replacing a reference to one of the existing entries.

In swiss phones italian t9 dll exists.

But hence they are in the windows folder, maybe they're restored at boot and the wrong ones deleted.

I have italian, english, french and german dll.

If anyone has a different one (e.g. danish) and could send it to me to make a try: [email protected]

Basically, wherever the T9's are referenced in the registry - say, replace the path to german/french/english T9 to italian/dutch

See if the T9 config util works. Its at msmobiles and freeware..

We are actually talking about ADDING a NEW language DLL to the phone.

True, if you need to change between them, use the new soft availible on PPCW website...

But I need to try to copy to windows folder a t9 dll which didn't come with my phone.

After that I can try if it works even after a reboot.

But I need someone to send me a t9 dll which I don't already have, as stated in my previous post.

You can put the new DLL in IPSM (so it stays after reboot) and edit the REG to reference to that file instead of othwrs...)

If you can extract stuff from the Windows folder .. you'd have to do it some weird geeky voodoo magic way .. cause pure copy/paste doesn't work - (I think anyways...)
