Continuing on logo customisation... The logo that appears when you start entering number/name can be removed which gives you a bigger screen. This way you can see another few contact entries on the screen... This was first included in Florin's tweaked firmware. I like it.

To do so, just follow midnights instructions but instead of giving the path to a new pic, delete the 'bitmap' value.

Thanks to midnight for initial solution/tweak on operator logos.

Thanks to Florin for information on removing the logo.

Does it work also for The Logo that appears while In-Call?

I would assume so, but I prefer to keep that one in, else it looks a bit ugly.

It works too, just tried myself.

Thank you.

The last Orange logo is the boot image... but I think it's coded in the ROM....

Quote from midnight page:

-------------------------------------------------------------------

And here's the Registry Setting:

The Logo that appears while dialing:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/:MSCdial

Select 'Values'

Select 'BannerImage'

and change the Value data to the location of the logo (eg., IPSMdial.gif if the logo is saved in the IPSM folder and is called 'dial.gif')

The Logo that appears while In-Call:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/:MSCprog

Select 'Values'

Select 'BannerImage'

and change the Value data to the location of the logo (eg., IPSMcall.gif if the logo is saved in the IPSM folder and is called 'call.gif')

you have to reboot your phone now for the changes to take place.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The one you are looking for is BANNERIMAGE
