VMail count on homescreen

Have addedd a VMail count to my homescreen, however, doesn't seem to count the number of voice messages I have received. SMS and Email works just fine. Am on Orange France.

I think the only way this can work is by counting missed calls, as it has no way of checking your voice mail :?
