Guest spiderboy Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Hi All Has anybody been able to successfully do presentations using the SPV connected to a projector. Seems like a great idea to be able to turn up to client site armed with only your phone and deliver of a great presentation. I don't know if this will be possible due to the resolution but would like to know your thoughts on this.
Guest fixit Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 No chance. On a projector each pixel on such a low res screen would appear huge, even if you could figure a way to get them connected in the first place!! You only have to use the Win CE remote control utility and double the screen size to see that.
Guest spiderboy Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 I dont see connection as a problem as you can use the Serial Cable adaptor. But I do see your point on resolution beeing an issue. I was just wondering if anyone have tried?
Guest Syvwlch Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Get an Archos MultiMedia Jukebox, and convert your prez to a stack of JPGs. Connect to the s-video or RCA input of the beamer (most have one now), and knock their socks off. Also works with TVs, did it in a hotel lobby once. :) All else fails, the on-board screen is purdy good. 'Course, you can always invest a thousand plus dollars in some video goggles for that immersive experience. ;)
