Guest matth Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Post update something peculiar is going on with the security settings. After a being initially badly botched, i succedued with the update, but since a hard reset was required a number of things on the phone needed setting back up. One of these was the security. Which I set back to what it was pre-update. However, i set the "time till phone autolocks" to something like 10 minutes. This is not a problem as such as that seems a decent amount of time. However, if i try and get into the DISBALE PHONE LOCK option the phone goes straight back to the home screen. Hence i can't change the password/ajust the autolock timing etc. I thought it was the timeout option that was causing this but this proved not to be the case. Anyone else experiencing this ? cheers matth
Guest SirGaz Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 This has been covered before on http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic...hlight=security Basically it seems to be a bug, but if you hit the back button once you've been navigated to the home screen then you end up back at the security settings.
Guest matth Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Nice one. Hitting back seems to do the track. cheers. matt.
