Midi format convertor

O.k most of us who have had the phone for more than a week know not to even attempted to play any midi file as it sounds crap.

But for all the people who are spending hours wondering why there is absolutley no sound coming from there SPV then it is probably because the midi file aint midi 0

You can DL any midi file and convert it to midi 0 using this programme.

The midi wont sound any worse, but just you wait until you get it on the phone and it will sound crap as the SPV cannot play midi files well at all!

here's me crossing my fingers and hoping this midi problem is a software issue and there will be a patch along soon!

Just tried a midi conversion to type '0' from '1' and it does play more... however, it made a hell of a racket, and the only way I could get it to stop was too take off the battery... tried midi '2' also, and the phone doesn't play it in the same way it doesn't play a midi '1' :P

if you turn volume down - it does sound ok on a simplish file - but then it isnt loud enough to use as a them tune...

its possible with a bit of hard work in cakewalk to get stuff sounding (half) reasonable tho...
