Dim the lights...

I notice that the backlight dims after a while (presumably to save battery power) and I wondered if it was configurable in some way so we could use the backlight just at low power all the time a) to save batteries and ;) when the normal light is too bright, e.g. when sitting in the dark when putting my baby to sleep, avoiding keeping my partner awake when in bed etc.

A better way of causing eyestrain than SPV porn sites, anyway! :lol:
