Guest westy1507 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Hello there all. May seem a little cheeky, but i'm a poor Win ME user and as such the SPV Unlock prog won't work. Now, i'm keen to use my Voda sim card in the phone, but wanted to know if somone on here could unlock it for me. Of course i'd pay the postage both ways if someone were willing to do it for me?! Any help would be super stuff. Email me if you can help. Thanks v muchness Westy
Guest Coolboy1982 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 No problem, I would certainly do that, but don't you have a friend who has XP or 2000??? Where do you live anyway?
Guest westy1507 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Amazingly, all of my mates boycotted XP as they all work in IT and absolutely hate it! They all run on ME, don't ask me why?! I'm in Cardiff btw. If you can do it, you're a star Cheers for the reply Westy
Guest Hax Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Amazingly, all of my mates boycotted XP as they all work in IT and absolutely hate it! They all run on ME, don't ask me why?! People working in IT choosing WinME over WinXP! Now that's funny! Would've thought that they would have chosen Win2K - at least it's a stable operating system! Hax
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 If they boycotted XP for ME they are fools imho. I'm happy to help if you get stuck though.
Guest Hax Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Anyways, have you tried running the sim unlocker that can be foundhere? I don't recall any mention of it being a Win2K/XP app only - must be worth a go  HTH Hax
Guest westy1507 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 I think working with it solidly everyday has just made them fed up with it. They spend so much time on a PC the last thing they want to do is come home and sit on the computer all night, hence the fact they've just stuck with what they've got, it's not a total hatred thing, more a 'do i REALLY need it' kind of scenario. Anyways, who is willing to help me? Westy Email here

Guest Hax Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Coolboy1982 - you forgot about good ol' Win2K ) Can't comment on how good it is compared to XP (not used it) but certainly beats the pants off any other version of *desktop* Windows (IMHO) Hax
Guest westy1507 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Coolboy, got your PM, will let you know when the phone is on its way. You a star  Westy
