I don't know if there is a special app that someone knows that can do this. I'll certainly be interested if there is. My apologises if you already know how to do this but I've listed below how I convert my MIDIs into WAVs:

1. Get yourself a prog that can record wavfiles. Eg. Cooledit or some freeware progs you can find by doing a search on the internet.

2. Press Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Volume Control. This will open onto to show lots of sliders.

3. Press Options -> Properties. Check the recording radio button. Make sure there is a tick in "What You Hear" and "Wave/MP3" and press OK.

4. Make sure that all the sliders are fully up and select "What You Hear" (if that doesn't work try "Wave/MP3"). You can close the recording control window now.

5. Open your recording app and start recording.

6. Start playing your midi file making sure you don't make any systems sounds (like opening windows) as this makes a sound and will be recorded on top of your midi.

7. After the midi has played stop recording, edit, convert and save (how you do this is dependant on the specific audio app your using).

And there you go.

There's better ways to do it, that method goes through your sound card, twice, so it's not going to be good quality.

I think Quicktime had some sort of GM samplebank that allowed you to save to disk. Failing that, there is always the disk writer for Winamp, but I'm not sure if that will work as MIDI files often play directly on the sound card.

Google. All answers can be found at Google.
