Getting P*ss*d off with stuck answerphone symbol

Ok guys does anyone have any ideas to help me out here. I got an answerphone message last night as you do, listened to it deleted it etc and lo and behold answerphone message sign is still there later in the evening/early morning: no answerphone messages when i ring inbox not even any saved messages. Now its next day n the f*ck*ng symbol is still there as well as a shortcut to answerphone next to programs on the toolbar instead of contacts grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Iv tried all the usual stuff turning phone on and off etc so guys HELP ME BEFORE I GO MAD!!!!

Tried leaving yourself a message, listening to it the entire way through, then deleting it?

If that doesn't work call OCS and ask them to reset it.

If its still there repeat step one (fixed it for me)

Yeah ... that works for me too! Also, when you delete the message .. wait like 3-4 seconds and see if the symbol disappears .. then hang up! That always works for me!

worked like a treat- especially waiting whilst still connected to answerphone for it to go, is everyone else getting these glitches n what do u think causes it- a problem at oranges side?.....:lol:

yeah, it's always been a problem with my Orange sub, also with my old SL45. Got a couple of other subs with other carriers, no voicemail-symbol probs with them.

ok orabge screw up again. actually thinking bout it i think i had these probs on my 8310 too sometimes damn delays

Don't think it's a question of them "screwing up", just a peculiarity of their system.
