Will Orange give me a new SPV?

Hi'ya

Not to sure what to do?

I have got a SPV, I unlocked it ( the old non-cert way ).

Signed up for the Music Lounge Trial, prog wouldn't install,

Orange advised me to Officaly lock it then install it,

then unlock my phone again.

Now nothing will install, says I don't have perminssion to install things?

So did a hard reset, still same problem!

:-(

What to do?

Will Ornage replace my handset?

Lost all my games!

do u have insurance? just make up some fake fault on ur phone: try this one which is a real one that happened to my last spv- only the power button would work meanin not possible to do hard reset or anything else for that matter other than turn the phone on and off- if u have a password u cant even type it in etc try that theyll send u a new one next day on courier :lol:

Nope I don't have insurance but I might get it, since the SPV is very buggy!

Don't you think they will replace it with the falt it has then?

i dunno if the spv has a warranty or not n if they weill replace it as its not stopping u using the actual phone and u may have caused it ureself but give it a go

So obviously after you did a hard reset it re-certed again. Just unlock it from the website...

rocknsock: Come on now, Orange regulary look and participate in this site, so lets not tell everyone how to perform insurance fraud....ok?

Also, all UK bought products have a 1 year warranty by law, phone up the place you got it from and request an RMA number if it has a hardware fault caused by manufacturer negligence or fault.

well its not fraud if theres a legit prob with the phone like i had n secondly if he has a prob with the phone n orange wont give him a new one whats he to do poor bloke.
