using camera pics for caller id?

I have searched but couldn't find anything, is there anyway of taking a photo with the camera, editing it, and using it for smartface/whocall id straight away, using current software available for the phone?

Well I don't seem to had much response to this ;)

Is this because it's not possible or that I haven't made myself very clear?

If you use SmartExplorer or All-Explorer you could move it to the pict folder and rename it apropriately...

You can't really edit the picture using the phone. You need some PC utility to crop/resize your images. On the other hand, if you take your pics at the two lowest resolutions, they seem to fit perfectly on the caller screen. Hence no editing in that case, just renaming.

I did do that, unfortunately it needs to resized to 176x200, is there anyway of doing this without removing the photo from the phone?

I've been using 60X84 images taken from the camera. No need for resizing here. The caller ID app loads the pic on top of the old incoming call screen.

But if you want a pic as big as the screen size, then there's no way to do it from the phone.
