Guest Mr B Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 Has anyone had a problem with their times? I have had a couple of occasions where the time display has been out by about 45mins. I'm not sure if this is something to do with my skin? Normally, turning the phone off and on fixes it. Secondly, I recently changed my normal alarm time from 7.00 to 9.45 (it was the weekend, don't you know!). Unfortunately, the alarm went off at both times. How annoying. My girlfriend wasn't very happy, let me tell you. Especially as I have a really loud annoying alarm set. Any ideas why this happens? (btw phone is unlocked ... )
Guest martin Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 I think you can set an alarm time with alarm on, followed by another alarm time with alarm on, and somehow get 2 alarms. If you enter the old alarm time and set it to off, it should clear the first one. I haven't tested this myself, its just based on previous topics.
Guest Hax Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 I had a problem with two alarms going off some time ago - turned out to be because I'd copied my *.vol files to backup my contacts, e-mail etc before doing a hard-rest. I had then copied them back after the hard reset and that was the cause of the problem! Have a little lookey here HTH, Hax

Make sure that the settings are the same on the PC as well as the SPV. I had this problem in the early days only to find that my PC had different regional settings and everytime I synced the time changed on the SPV. Cas
Guest Katie Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Has anyone had a problem with their times? ) I had the opposite problem this weekend: set the alarm for 7am, decided 7am was too early, and reset it to go off at 7.15. ...woke up at 9am Blokey wasn't very happy. But still made it to Blackpool and had a groovy time. Still confused as to why it didn't go off the second time though.
Guest yatpeak Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Maybe we shouldn't be trusting our SPVs as alarm clocks... Wyatt
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 My SPV alarm has worked fine for the last 4 or so months - no problems at all.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Ssame here ;) Used it for five months without a single error.
Guest Richie M Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Yep no alarm problems here, the only thing i can think of concerning time is make sure the times correct on your pC, cos when you Ativ-Sync it'll sync the time ;)
