How can I remove the 'Biing' sound in "compose new messages"

if you mean when you add a contact to the mail/sms, you cant, its a built in error noise i think. To avoid it tho, add contacts with menu>Add To:

I did ! But I still have the 'Bing' when using "add to" in menu ?

I also get the sound in the step before that, when selecting " New " in the inbox. T

It's a horrid sound! I absolutely detest it, get it everytime I add a name in sms 'the wrong way' .. or go in a 'right-menu' by pressing action and not right key *snort*!

Maybe you chould just delete the sound from the phone all together!?

eh? the 'new' sound is just a standard windows 'menu selected' sound, just go into settings>profiles, edit the profile and make all system sound volumes 0
