Midnight and I have worked on a little sound scheme editor, so you can switch between the sound schemes: Borg, FemBorg, Ni and SouthFart... ;)

You'll need to download all 4 schemes from Midnights site (Here)

Then you place the schemes in storage cardSound Cabs (You have to make the 'Sound Cabs' folder yourself)

You have to make the schemes 'READ ONLY'

Then you download the SoundschemeEditor...

... and place it in you startmenu

Launch the app, and you can choose what soundscheem you want to use.

Note:

This is only an early version of the 'Sound Scheme Edtitor'.. Soon there will be an Editor ready were you can add new schemes, and with some bether gfx :D

[EDIT] A lil mistake in the program, fixed now :)

I was just about to elborate!

I downloaded the schemes .. put them in the right folder - read only on the cabs!

Put the program in the folder .. linked to it in Start Menu (tried just putting it in start menu as well) .. can's see it in the start menu (cause it's htm??) .. so I try and run it thru Smart Explorer .. when I try and choose a theme .. it says site doesn't exist...

*ponder*

Hmmm that's odd...

Yeah the files are unzipped .. read only (and archeive!?!?). Maybe that's the problem .. I'll try and fool around with that!

How do you actually see the program in the Start Menu tho!? Cause I don't see it when I place it in the Start Menu folder...

I'm an eeeedjit! I was fooling around with the 'old' file that had a lil error in it! Even tho I downloaded the new file, I was still fooling around with the old one *sigh*!

So as it didn't work for Morflez with the old version of the cab: does this

mean that it will only work with exactly the four cabs developed by midnight?

What if I create my own one and name it Borg or Southfart? Will the app

pick it up? Or is even the size of the cabs checked?

Also, can I leave out a scheme that I don't want, or will this app need all 4

to work?

Thanks

Coolboy as long as the names the same a different CAB will work ;)

Looking at it  you don't need all of them, it just wont work if you hit a link for a CAB that isn't there :?

You can create your own, and name it the same as own of the exsisting, it should work...

You can leave out a scheme if you want to, but the app wil still think that it is there, you just can't install it :)

But soon to come:

An app were you can add your own, and leave out the cabs you dont want..

And bether gfx (without saying to much..hehe ;) )

Well I got it to work ... sortaf!!

The proggy starts up .. and I choose a cab file, it installs and says success! But no sounds anywhere!? *ponder*

I'm a spass with sound schemes...
