Guest Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Is it possible to save an image in Pocket Internet Explorer? I can't find an option to do it and it seems like a silly omission. Is it definitely only possible to receive and not send files via IR? Thanks, Ant.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 Doesn't appear to be possible... one for the wishlist? P
Guest chielectric Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 It can be done. This is the long way to do it tho... use task manager to uncheck 'hide system apps' use photo viewer to check if you have the file in your cache, click menu>folders>all folders. remember the filename. use smart explorer click edit>find... enter the filename in the field and click on find the file should be in a folder like this: 'windows/temporary internet files/[randomdigitsfolder]' for example: 'windows/temporary internet files/C8JHNN04' select the file then copy and paste to a new location. Hope this helps.. and also hope someone else can figure out a faster way to do this.
Guest mike-oh Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 IA Album can find them, or Photos as it's now known in the start menu. Just make sure you have the search subfolders option enabled in the options/general menu.
