Guest Inglwulf Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 Every time I try to explore my SPV on Activesync 3.6, I get an error message saying something like this : "Critical communication services failed to start" it also says to reinstall activesync and/or restart computer to remedy it. Well after dozens of attempts of reinstalling and rebooting, and hours spent on the Orange technical support helpline that drew blank, I am still no nearer getting this shed to work. I would be gratefull for any help on this.

What are you doing to reinstall? In an ideal situation, we want: -Complete uninstall -Restart -Install -Restart And has ActiveSync ever worked before?
Guest Mesh121 Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 if that does not work download activsync from the microsoft downloads. may be an error in the software you have? if on cd that is ;)
Guest Inglwulf Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 I have done a complete uninstall, restart etc... several times but this does not solve the problem when I try to explore. I am able to connect and syncronise but not explore.
