NO SIM Connection!!

First of all I'm new to the SPV. I've just removed my sim to put it in my other phone, not an orange one I might add and on replacing it into the spv the phone starts up but does not ask for my sim pin and connect to my network?!!

Anybody had this problem before please help!!

Hi there welcome to the site ;)

I'm not the most technical of peeps here but have you tried checkin that the radio part of the phone is turned on.

To do this press the quick list key (top left on the side above the volume control) and select the fourth option radio on.
