????MMS Questions????

I've been using my SPV here in the US for about a week under T-Mobile. This forum has been invaluable. I LOVE the phone. Everything is great except for problems I'm having with MMS.

I used to get CNN BREAKING NEWS messages on my T68 via SMS. On my SPV the are recognized as MMS messages. The phone attempts to download the message, then says MESSAGE DOWNLOAD FAILED (or something like that). I still receive other SMS messages fine.

I used the MMS setting as defined on this site and have sent an MMS to myself after I first set it up. (MMS is still new here so I didn't have anyone to test it with.)

1) Any ideas on MMS in the US?

2) Any ideas why what used to be a regular SMS is being recognized as an MMS?

Thanks for the reply. I did do a search but didn't find that thread. I really don't want to decert my phone. I'm not on the orange network so if I take the upgrade I woun't be able to decert. Is that still true?

Also, to the moderator....I know it's probably an impossible task, but is there any way to condense this site. Everyone get's mad when you re-ask a question but it's soooooo difficult to go thru the search as about 1000 hits usually come up. I must add that you really do a good job at this already with the sticky Help and Article sections. But I guess this site is so popular that there are probably too many threads to condense....but please don't get mad when noobies re-ask questions.

If you can answer my question above I would appreciate it.

The link you sent suggests that I update the phone to the April Update when Application Locks the phone again.

1) When I go to the Orange link listed, I only see the 1.3.5.6 Update...from January. Not the 1.3.7 update from April

2) Can I decert the phone from the US again using the hack method I originally did or do I need to do the Orange Decet program? If Orange is the Only way....how do I do that from the US???

Some people can still decert via the Orange site, but if you have problems

Got to the Orange Update site and it worked fine!!!!

I do have one more question.....

Where can I get the new update 1.3.7

I go to the orange site and it only offers the 1.3.5.6 update which I already have. I also looked for the OTA Update application on my phone and it only offers 2 ringtones and 2 backdrops which download fine.

Where can I get the new update 1.3.7????

I understand that the Orange Update is only thru the Orange Update OTA service.

When I run this it only shows ringtones and backdrops....no update. I posted this question under a different topic with no answer.

Any ideas on how to get the update to show up under Orange Updater on my phone?

Any ideas on other possible ways to get the update?
