Guest fozzie Posted April 19, 2003 Report Posted April 19, 2003 I've just taken delivery of the keyboard and am really pleased with it so far. It all works fine except for two of the shortcut buttons - the second one in (which I think is for contacts) and the fifth one (which I'm not sure what the icon represents?!). I get an error on the SPV about not being able to open the shortcut or locate the target file. Anybody else get this and/or able to offer any solutions? Many thanks.
Guest fozzie Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 ok - having had a bit more time to play, I've worked out what the problem! The shortcuts mentioned are for 'contacts' and 'call history'. There needs to be a shortcut for these apps in the main start menu directory for them to work (I don't normally have them there!). Anybody fancy having a go at modifying the keyboard driver/remapping the keyboard shortcut keys? ;)
Guest spacemonkey Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 This has been bugging me too... I figured the answer would be something like that. I must say, I'd actually prefer to disable those keys on the keyboard all together cos I sometime bump them when typing numbers and it takes me out of the current app which really annoys me. Couldn't find reg settings relating to these immediately but I'll have another hunt.
Guest fozzie Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 I'l have a look in the registry too. It may be that they're hard coded in the keyboard driver though.
