Guest Deno123 Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Wow... It looks really cool.. Especially with all those accesories..
Guest ClintEastman Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Nice! Ironic, Frog Design designing a device running Microsoft software... They are the people that designed XP (luna).
Guest Myke Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 wow i have seen the future... and it looks sexy. I want those glasses!!! You can view 800 X 600 displays while simultaneously staying in touch with the world around you. it has a digital camera, ear bud, and microphone built in! that pen would be amazing for smartphone type devices.. everything you write down could get transmitted wirelessly via bluetooth to your device.
Guest spacemonkey Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Nice looking... I expect I'll have these in my hands at the same time that my ford concept car arrives.... But seriously... it'll be more interesting when they actually convert this from an artists day out into genuine products.
Guest Richie M Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Nice looking... I expect I'll have these in my hands at the same time that my ford concept car arrives.... But seriously... it'll be more interesting when they actually convert this from an artists day out into genuine products. :? Huh what do you mean? I've seen them on the the Internet so they must be real :)
Guest spacemonkey Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Like the glasses concept tho... looks like a pair of Oakleys with an extra piece of plastic glued on... I bet that piece of plastic is pretty amazing tho
Guest benzo Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Bloody gorgeous! I love the ear bud headphones and rollerball pen. The watch is a little bulky though. Talk about seriously mad convergence.
Guest Honest John Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 One slight drawback about the glasses. I quote Goggles: Integrated into the frame of exciting, stylish sports eyewear, this device incorporates a heads-up display, digital camera, ear bud and microphone. Due to the power requirements, there is a tethered cord that runs out the back to an external power supply. You can view 800 X 600 displays while simultaneously staying in touch with the world around you. So, as long as you are within an extension cable's distance from a main socket............................. (ok, it doesn't say a mains socket, but you know the old joke about the guy with the do-everything watch.)
Guest fraser Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 The watch thing reminds me of Lela's computer in Futurama...bluetooth is going to make these devices very cool!
Guest Ben Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 wow i have seen the future... and it looks sexy. I want those glasses!!! You can view 800 X 600 displays while simultaneously staying in touch with the world around you. it has a digital camera, ear bud, and microphone built in! Looks good, and I'm sure it'll keep your head warm with all the radiation ! A double whammy! Ben.
Guest spiderboy Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 So how do you switch the screen off for the glasses surely that cant be legal whilst driving??
Guest ajb3000 Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 ha, I can see it now: officer: can you tell me why you were swerving onto the other side of the road driver: sorry officer, I was trying to avoid a monster shooting fireballs at me (playing doom whilst driving)
Guest Vector Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 By the time those things come out you probably wouldn't even have to drive your car. You could be a passenger playing doom....
Guest yatpeak Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 Looks great! They certainly like accessories, IMHO there are a few too many of them. How long till it comes out though...? Wyatt
