Guest amo Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 When i try turning my spv on, it wont power up it just makes a popping noise in the earpiece. I have to plug it into the charger for it to switch on! Also, i have an alarm that goes off every day at the same time which wont go away, i have tried switching the alarm off thru the software but no luck. Also, (and this ones a biggie!) the phone is constantly displaying no service and claims i have no signal. however, i can still make and recive calls/sms. But, when i receive an sms it doesnt tell me, i have to manually keep checking in the inbox to see if i have any. And, my clock is permanantly stuck on 12.00pm. and its not, its 13.32!!!! Ive never had a problem with my phone up until this week, do these things develop or do orange remotly activate them jus to pee us of?! (or give us something to talk about!!! ;) ) help me!!!!! had a call to O care, and they said they had to email the magical "engineer" who would then call me back, im still waiting for a call back from them from last november!!!! ooh. ps. and my grps doesnt work!!!
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 Sounds well bad. In the four or so months I have had my phone, I have had little trouble (touch wood) - certanily nothing to the extent of what you describe, amo. Do you have access to a gun? If so, I advocate taking your phone out to the back yard and ending its suffering immediately. I am sure that orange care covers phones blown to pieces by a shooter ;) Seriously though - sounds like you are having major hassles - hard re-set time again (at least). Good luck :)
Guest amo Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 I hate hard resets...is there anyway of backing up sms's???
