A normally reliable source has just told me that the 7650 has been discontinued. No reasons why yet. I'll post more when I find it out. Could also be a third hand rumour so don't go jumping up and down yet.

It's been discontinued (I would guess) because they have brought out the 3650 (which is damn ugly) and that seems to be what they are pushing.

Nokia seems to be targetting their smartphones at chicks it seems... out of interest, do they still make and market the Communicator? Cos they may have said: "Communicator = Mans Phone, 7650/3650 = Womans Phone"

How about the 3650? Would anybody be stupid enough to get a 7650 when the 3650 comes out?

I wouldn't be seen dead with a 3650 :?

I much prefer the 7650 to the 3650 ( even though it's a brick  )

If I HAD to choose between the 3650 and 7650, I know which I'd pick. And it wouldn't be the 3650.

The 7650 has been discontinued by Orange, Comet, Carphone warehouse and DSG.

Nokia continue to manufacture, support and sell them. Orange still have handsets on order which must be furfilled although these represent only only low numbers.

DSG must be having some kind of blitz because they're also dropping the GameCube with immediate affect. If you want a cheap GameCube get yourself to your nearest Dixons/Currys/PC World pronto.

I used to love Nokia phones but they seem to have been misguided as to what professional users want from their phones. Nokia seem to be focusing more on appearance and photos rather than functionality. I think the 3650 is hideous. Imagine trying to compose a text message message on that silly keypad. I reckon the designers at Nokia are on halluciagenics.

Gotta give them props for the kitty clip though.Well funny! :)
