Decertifying SPVx

My phone's called a Smart Amazing Phone here in the Philippines and I think its called Tanager/SPVx elsewhere. It's similar to the phone posted at http://www.coolsmartphone.com/tanager.htm. Will the decertifying tips and software for the SPV work for my phone? What steps do I take. Please help.

Yep, everything SPV should work fine on the Tanager. If you have any specific questions then fire away ;)

Thats funny - I thought the Smart Amazing Phone was decertifed by default? Could have sworn someone said it was.

does the spvx already have the "uk upgrade"? which decertifying method in http://www.coolsmartphone.com/app-cert.htm#M2 do i use, the official orange method, method 1 or method 2?

To decert I would either use the Orange developers site

or my favourite the decert app by Will found

Thanks for the reply. I asked this because i wasnt able to install some freeware, i get a message that the program is not certified. However, I was able to install and run SMARTRIS.

That's very odd. It can install smartris but not anything else? Smartris still hasn't been certified yet, has it?
