Guest ajb3000 Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Will someone please code an app to do a full one click spv back-up and restore, so next time it decides to hard reset itself we can restore the phone exactly how it was quickly and easily? I would be forever gratefull.

We are the authors of Orange Backup. 2. Because of this, our apps are Orange signed privileged. 3. Our sister product on PPC does full device backup/restore. 4. Microsoft didn't implement registry restore under the Smartphone OS. This is why Orange Backup only acts on a few specific things -- Contacts / Calendar / My Documents / SIM data. 5. Smartphone Security Policies live in the registry. So, there are a number of details to work through but as I said above, I'm workin' on it.
