Is there an Orange GPRS status page anywhere? It would be handy to check current problems, rather then assuming that it's your phone that is acting up....LIKE I'M DOING RIGHT NOW

Anyone else having problems with GPRS? I'm in glasgow, BTW. Re-booted a couple of times.

I suppose customer services are meant to know of any GPRS faults.

I presume O have network management software running? Or do they rely on us to tell them about GPRS faults?

Well if GPRS doesn't work it would be kind of hard to display a status page short of using a PC.

GPRS isn't working for me right now. (In Devon.)

Haven't tried ringing Orange, yet, though.

Do you just get the "Unable to place call" error?

Gprs node is down in Birmingham today, thats covers quite a large area!

Gone down for me, too, so phoned 156 to check, and they were able to tell me the local site is down for routine maintenance, and should be back up around 1430.

They were able to just check the coverage against the postcode.

Hope this helps others having probs.

GPRS in Glasgow has been a bit iffy for me recently - seems to be working fine today.

Just spoke to Erica in 156 ... apparently there are major problems covering Birmingham, South Wales & the South West :-(

She wasn't able to give me an indication of when it will be back up either !

At least they were honest ... mind you I find that all the staff @ 156 (based in Bristol I believe) are on the ball - very helpful on all previous occassions.
